- Your Session: Put on the apron provided, and enter the pen when informed. You will be given a brief summary of the rules and your milk bottle before the cuteness (and a little chaos) begins.
- After your Session: Wash your hands at the hand wash station, and scrub your shoes with the mats and brushes provided. Then you can enjoy the rest of your day including all the rest of the Animal Handling Activities on the daily timetable!
-
Check in with front desk at least 15 minutes before your chosen session. Remember – Your ticket includes All Day Admission, so make the most of it!
Front desk will provide your session wristbands which must be worn to provide proof of booking to the Animal Rangers. You will be given directions on where to go for your Lamb Bottle Feeding experience.
-
- Wellies and waterproof clothing are always recommended for MAXIMUM fun – and safety!
-
- Each Adult requires a Ticket. While one Adult Lamb Feeding Ticket is required for every booking, any extra Adults can book All Day Admission Tickets and still watch all the fun and be official photographer! Minimum 2 people per booking.
- Aprons provided must be worn without exception. This is a safety requirement.
-
- Children Under 2 are unable to participate in Lamb Bottle Feeding due to increased risk. If you require to add an Under 2s All Day Admission ticket, please get in touch.
- The time selected is the time your Lamb will be fed at the Animal Barn. Please do not be late or your Lamb may be fed.
- There may be other people within your session, but you will have your own Lamb to feed (and cuddle!)
-
All animals naturally carry a range of bugs, some of which can be passed on to humans, where they may cause ill health. Included among these bugs is E coli 0157, and Cryptosporidium, which can cause severe illness. In order to keep you safe, we have taken a number of steps:
- Trained animal care staff. Their instruction must be followed.
- The aprons provided must be worn.
- Disinfection measures upon entry and exit must be adhered to.
- Hand Wash Stations must be used. Hand Gels are not an effective substitute against many diseases.
- Children who are prone to finger sucking should not participate due to high risk.
- We recommend this activity for children aged 3 and up. Children aged 2 and up can participate at customer discretion, with close supervision and assistance
If you or anyone in your party are or may be pregnant, we advise against contact with Sheep/Lambs, as well as Goats/Kids.
While we have taken every reasonable precaution for your health and safety, there are still risks involved in all forms of animal contact. By proceeding with your booking you are agreeing that you understand and accept these risks.

While a number of our daily Animal Handling Sessions are included with every ticket, Lamb Bottle Feeding is incredibly popular so it is by Pre-Booking ONLY.
-
All Children require supervision so a minimum of one Adult Ticket is required per booking.
Any other Adults not intending to take part in the Animal Experiences can book All Day Admission – they can be chief photographers!
-
We ask that you arrive EARLY for your chosen Lamb Bottle Feeding session. Our duty of care is to our animals, and they have set feeding times. If you are late the animals will be fed by the Ranger responsible for their care.
You can of course still enjoy the Farm with your All Day Admission included with your Ticket.
-
If the lamb is keen for a cuddle and you can confidently hold it on your lap, then yes you can have a cuddle! But no kisses! Sorry…
